Julia Roberts, one of the greatest actresses of the Hollywood was born in Georgia on the 28^th September 1967. She was a great person with all the qualities to be a great actress. Her nick name was Jules and was about 175 centimeters tall. She loved the animals very much and so this love made her dream to be a veterinarian but it was not so and she studied journalism. Her brother, Eric Roberts was an actor and so she also joined her brother’s profession of acting. She was offered her first break in 1988 and since then she has never looked back and moved to the oath of success. In her career she won two golden globes, Oscar, BAFTA, and was also nominated for the Emmy Awards. There are also lots of awards that she has won in her life. Julia Roberts mainly acted in romantic comedies which made her very famous but still she acted in serious movies also showing her versatility in acting.

Golden globe awarded

In 1989 she won a golden globe for the best supporting role in ‘Steel Magnolias’. She won the golden globe award for the lead role in the film ‘Pretty woman’. She continued her great job of acting and created a mark in the Hollywood. Her films came in a never ending queue and in 1993 she was married to Lyle Lovett. After marriage also she continued her work. Her married life was very brief and she got divorced and continued her work as an actress. In 1997 she starred in the award winning movie ‘My best friend’s wedding’ which was a romantic comedy and in 1998 she won the golden globe for the best actress for her role in ‘My best friend’s wedding’. Again in 1999 she was nominated for the Emmy Awards for her excellent work in her guest appearance in ‘Law and Order’, a television series.

She earned about $20 million dollars for one film at a certain time and it was justified by her work. The huge amount of $20 million looked to be earned by the producers after seeing her performance. She gave her best to the films that she has done. She also owns a production house which has been producing many hit films and giving the audience to watch the quality movies that they pay for. By the year 2004 her earnings were estimated to be $212 million and in 2007 her earning was $9 million per annum.

She is a very kind, good and a helping person. She is always willing to help the poor and the downtrodden people.

She has a strong feeling for the children all over the world, as she herself is a mother to three cute children and so she takes all the children of the world to be her own and loves and cares for them.
